Squad/Clan logo + [tag] ingame, how to

Hey!
Not the first time someone asked how to have a clan tag after his name + a logo on some vehicles ingame, and a little description when you select the name of the player in the list (default button is P in game)

So, what you need ?
1. a webserver to host some files...
2. config your player options in arma2 profile...
easy!


* If you don't own a webserver, I found a website who can host and automatically config and the needed files :
http://www.dtclan.co.uk/ (registration needed). I've not tested this website, but I've found the link from the arma2 wiki, so I think they are serious...

everything is explained here if you want to do it by hand.


With the first solution, I think you will only need a logo to upload + your ID number (+registration)
If you don't want to register in this website, Write your .xml (I got a template if you need), and I can host your .xml + logo
on my personal webserver (it usually works well...lol, but don't cry if it's on maintenance!). (just ask me with a private message in this forum, and when enough time, we can try to make it working;) )

Ok!
Some little ways to that goal :

Create an account on the website http://www.dtclan.co.uk/
Write on an old paper your player ID (needed by the website) from your player's profile in Arma2 options :

Write this ID on the website...
You have to write your EXACT NAME (may be case sensitive...)
You can upload a squad logo (perfect square!!! ex: 512x512)


Then the website will generate a new URL to copy/paste in your player's profile in Arma2 (ctrl+C -> ctrl+V in the game window)


Let's try on a server... Press P to show the players list (click on your name)
and given informations will show.


If you make several tests, I'm not sure but I think the server will leave the 1st informations of your squad until it restarts. So if you did a mistake on the 1st test, the server will not refresh the new data, so just try another server to be sure.
